Lynette Diana Provost
The eighteenth Auditor-General of New Zealand, Lynette Diana Provost, has served as Controller and Auditor-General since 2009.
Lyn Provost (pronounced "Provo") is the first woman to hold the post of New Zealand’s Auditor-General. She was the first woman and civilian to be appointed to the role of Deputy Commissioner of the New Zealand Police. She held that position for eight years.
